Ghost Towns
Although considered by many to be a 'ghost town', Belmont's current population of just under 20 residents would beg to differ. Just at the turn of the century, this mining camp was once the powerhouse of mighty Nye County, sitting as the county seat from the 1870's to 1907. This old establishment still stands proudly along Main Street just after sunrise remembering its former days when Belmont held promise for all.
